Apropos of a certain instance of that Fallacy we call Non-Sequitur: Come on! Get real! The act of kneeling (or of bowing and of genuflecting) does not necessarily signify worship of Gods and Divinities, as some would have us believe; or else, we have to denounce the practice of Christians, Catholics and Protestants alike, prevalent in past centuries and perhaps extant even today in some portions of the globe, of kneeling before their Kings and Queens, and, in fact, even before their empty thrones, to signify that really high and profound degree of respect and veneration for the Sacred Power of which these latter are believed to be the sacred depositories, and which their thrones symbolize--the God-given Power to rule earthly Kingdoms in his Name and in conformity with his Will and Laws, and illegitimate resistance to which, it must be said, is lese majeste and treason against the Divine Majesty--as constituting veritable acts of the sin and canonical crime... of IDOLATRY!
