Aqua Jogging for Improved Strength & Endurance Thank you for all of the emails and text messages about knee pain! Here are some aqua jogging exercises that we implement with all segments of clients. Here are some of the benefits of aqua jogging (some obvious, some not so obvious): 1. The water density will make you strong 2. The water pressure on the body will bring the blood flow back to the heart (Note: lower heart rate means burning more fat!) 3. The impact on your joints are minimal 4. If you are a runner, you will become significantly stronger Suggestions to make the exercise more enjoyable (running in water can be mentally challenging): 1. Break it up so that you aqua jog for 10 minutes and then swim for 10 minutes 2. Add some running through the water in the shallow end of the pool (Note: wear an old pair of sneakers to keep from tearing up the bottom of your feet) 3.
