Salvador XL723 Since 2005, XL723 has consistently proven to be the yield leader in conventional rice. Being highly competitive against weeds, offering yield stability and consistency year over year, XL723 is the workhorse hybrid that brings unsurpassed value to the grower by offering: 26% average yield advantage in 9 years of head-to-head yield trials when compared to standard variety Cheniere Yield wins 94% of the time and Net Revenue wins 91% of the time* Above average milling yield Best available disease package 3-5 days earlier maturing than Cheniere Excellent ratoon potential XL723 should be harvested at 18-20% moisture at first drydown to help maximize grain quality and grain retention. *Data based on grain price of $14.50 per cwt, and XL723 seed price of $80 per acre. Data set current as of 9/25/2012. XL753 New in 2011, XL753 brings many characteristics similar to XL723. With grain retention and yield improvements over XL723, XL753 will allow hybrid rice customers to worry less about harvest issues while capturing the other benefits of growing hybrids: 36% average yield advantage in 2 years of head-to-head yield trials when compared to standard variety Cheniere Yield wins 99% of the time and Net Revenue wins 94% of the time* Better yield potential than XL723 Standard milling yield Best available disease package Maturity comparable to XL723 Excellent ratoon potential Improved grain retention characteristics over XL723 XL753 should be harvested at 18-20% moisture at first drydown to help maximize grain quality and grain retention. *Data based on grain price of $14.50 per cwt, and XL753 seed price of $130 per acre. Data set current as of 9/25/2012. XP754 New in 2011, XP754 brings new characteristics that will make it a great companion hybrid with XL723. With grain retention improvements over XL723, XP754 is a longer maturing hybrid that will allow growers to spread their harvest window while maintaining planting efficiencies and realize the other benefits of growing hybrid rice: 26% average yield advantage in 2 years of head-to-head yield trials when compared to Cheniere Yield wins 93% of the time and Net Revenue wins 64% of the time* Similar yield potential to XL723 Standard milling yield Best available disease package Higher sheath blight tolerance than previous hybrids Maturity of 7-10 days later than XL723 Improved grain retention characteristics, similar to current standard varieties XP754 should be harvested at 18-20% moisture at first drydown to help maximize grain quality and grain retention. *Data based on grain price of $13.00 per cwt, and XP754 seed price of $90 per acre. Data set current as of 9/30/2011.
