Arch and I fulfilled a long time desire of riding to Misa de Gallo on our bikes. The very cold temps of the early early morning coupled with the wind sheer at cruising speeds chased away the remains of too short a nights rest and it felt so so good! Mass was warm, solemn and intimate, a gathering of the faithful in a small town chapel where most are neighbors and family. We stood on the fringes, shivering by our bikes as we listened to the priest talk long and hearty about advent and charity. On our way home, we rode through this and I felt a wave of gratitude for having made the effort and being blessed by that simple act of faith. My God will not be outdone though, this is how he shows his appreciation! Happy Friday folks!
