Archbishop Lefebvre asked for permission to ordain Bishops to - TopicsExpress

Archbishop Lefebvre asked for permission to ordain Bishops to ordain priests. He was promised he would get the permission. Then, nothing came. He asked again and was told yes, that they would give him a date, ..still nothing came. This continued and he knew their game. They did not want tradition and wanted it to end. The Archbishop, saw a state of emergency for the Catholic Church and knew that they were stalling him waiting until his death, so he went ahead and carried out the consecrations. (Thank God!) Canon Lawyers have written in favour of the Archbishop stating that no disobedience was shown because the Archbishop saw what he was doing as necessary. He called it operation survival. He acted out of a will to safeguard tradition, the Mass and the priesthood, as the Bible instructed him to. Crowds of thousands showed up in support of his heroic actions. He should have been supported by Rome but instead was persecuted for only doing what all the Popes Saints, Martyrs and faithful had done since Christ. He was a true fighter for the faith and rejected totally the errors of modernism and the heretical New Mass of 1969. John Paul II in his fury , unjustly excommunicated the holy prelate, the four Bishops, Bishop de Castro Mayer and the faithful who supported the Society of Saint Pius X which he had founded. JPII then went on to make pacts with the enemies of the Catholic Church and let people think he had a hand to play in the fall of Communism which he actively promoted through false ecumenism and liberalism..
