Architectural Association Visiting Schools – Escuela de Arquitectura UC –CHILE 2015 Wednesday 7 – Friday 16 January 2015 Organised in collaboration with Chile’s National Astronomical Observatory, the course will be taught by tutors from the AA, the Catholic University, and astronomers from the University of Chile who will offer lectures and seminars within the workshop. The ten-day course is open to engaging students, recent graduates, young designers and architects as well as professionals from other related fields interested in exploring alternative forms of practice. Applications The deadline for applications is 18 December 2014. You can make an application by completing the online application found under ‘Links and Downloads’ on the AA Visiting School page. If you are not able to make an online application, email [email protected] for instructions to pay by bank transfer. All participants travelling from abroad are responsible for securing any visa required for entry to Chile, and are advised to contact their home embassy early. After payment of fees, the AA School can provide a letter confirming participation in the workshop. Fees The AA Visiting School requires a fee of £600 per participant, which includes a £60 Visiting Student Membership, payable online at: aaschool.ac.uk/santiago. Fees do not include flights to Chile or accommodation in Santiago. Students need to bring their own laptops and digital equipment.
