Architectural painting/drafting may solve the hallway problem of indoor/outdoor art. Whilst critics pan the messiness of patchworked bond paper, especially for poor artists who have no possible allowance for glass - thats where oil is like sculpture, 3D and aerial art is a vehicle and a relief, but its not aerial, and so, your fked. The desperation of the artist to exhibit dampens the paper even further. I dont know who has gone to the Architecture school over by Morris Louis on LaGuardia, but they manage to solve hangers and materials without spending a fortune. Us painters are sloths when it comes to giving up the fun part of arts & crafts. I guess its something to renounce, that of gigantic architectural composites. Actually, no one pays attention to Wegman except his weimaranas, but he attempted to encapsulate aerial circusscapes into relatively normal large paintings at Sperone around 12 years ago.
