As a prize winner will get a pavilion for FREE and will have a chance to show his architectural model in such a big and international festival. Architecture Week Prague2014 The eight edition of the International Festival of Architecture: Architecture Week Prague 2014 will be held in the Convent of Saint George at Prague Castle, and other venues in the city of Prague, from September 15th to October 12th, 2014. The main topic of the Festival is Architectonic Heritage, Architectonic Icons. The aim is to present to our Czech and foreign audience examples of domestic and international heritage from prominent personalities of architecture, which over the years have become icons in their time. In the context of the exhibition, architecture from many cities around the world is presented together with world renowned studios and architects, prepared in close cooperation with embassies and cultural institutes of the guest countries. During the Festival we will also present lectures by Czech and foreign architects, exhibition openings, conferences, „Days of Architecture“ of selected countries, „Days of Cities“of the Czech Republic, architectural city walks and other events enjoyed by our audience each year. The Festival will benefit architecture students, who will have the opportunity to become familiar with a wide range of architectural styles and many of the greatest figures of architectural design, and discover their contribution to the development and direction of modern architecture.
