Archive for June, 2013 The enemy is on the attack (but he is already defeated) Monday, June 10th, 2013 It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever been attacked while you were sleeping at night? Have you ever been attacked when you were awake? Do you feel under attack now? Are you doubting the Lord? Are you wavering in your faith? Has the enemy taken your joy, your peace and your happiness? Have you attempted to get it back? So often in our lives, we spend so much time fighting for victory never understanding we already have the victory [in Christ Jesus our Lord]. We strive to be accepted never realizing we have been confirmed by the Lord. We try to buy friendship. We allow others to walk over us for their own pleasure. Does this sound like anyone you know? Does this sound like you? Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, The enemy is on the attack (but he is already defeated). Have you ever noticed when things are going well, he attempts to send something or someone to hinder you? When you were unsaved and unchurched, he never bothered you. Now that you are living for the Lord, you are on his list to target. Friends you thought you could trust, now lie and spread nasty rumors about you. The Bible declares in John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy … The enemy is focused on pulling you down. The enemy is on the attack (but he is already defeated). To destroy you is his goal. But the conclusion of that same scripture declares … I (Christ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The Lord died that you may live. The Lord rose that you may be free. The Bible declares in John 8:36 - If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. My brother, my sister, The enemy is on the attack (but he is already defeated). The enemy is fighting a battle with you that Christ already won. The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Your victory comes through Jesus Christ. He has completed the work. When you experience attacks on your job, know that you are victorious. When your friends walk away from you, know that you are victorious. When your anointing is placed on trial, know that you are victorious. The Bible declares in 1 John 5:4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
