Ardmore Notes 30th October 2013 Week 43 of the lotto Jackpot of £2800 with numbers 2-7-10 had no winner this week. The £50 was won by Bride Mc Cormick. Next week’s jackpot stands at £2900. Can all outstanding monies be paid in ASAP? As you know our Senior Men have qualified to the first round in Ulster. They are up against Emyvale on Sunday the 3rd of November in Clones with a 12.45 throw-in. All your support is greatly appreciated as this is a fantastic achievement for our boys. Hope you have the date for our annual draw in your diary. It’s just 2 weeks to go. The draw tickets are currently in circulation and the stubs need to be returned with money ASAP. If anyone would like a book or a ticket please see a member of the club. It is anticipated that all players will buy a book per household. This is our main fundraiser of the year. The draw will take place at our Dinner Dance on Saturday the 16th of November. The Dinner Dance and Prize-giving tickets will be £20. We have limited seating this year which promises to be a good evening given the recent success of the Men’s team. We need everyone to make a concerted effort to get all tickets sold early. We may not be able to hold tickets so please get your tickets ASAP The club are entering some of our local superstars in the Junior Scor competition. We have entered into four sections set dancing, recital, singing and instrumental. The Scor is on the 17th of November in Slaughtneil at 3pm. Again all support is greatly appreciated for our fabulous young stars. Following coaches meeting this is the line-up for next season. U8 Annette, Kerrie & harry Doherty. U10 William, Eoghan, Paul Lusby. U12 Emmett, Eugene Devine. U14 Eoin, JoeCreggan, James Cruickshank, John Simpson. Minors Kevin, Barry Gavin & Paddy Storey. It was agreed training for minors & u14 will begin at the pitch on Sunday 10th of November at 11am. It will run for 6weeks up until the 15th of December. Please spread the word to all eligible players. It is also anticipated to have the school sessions for U8’s this will also occur on a Sunday morning. Ardmore AGM is scheduled to be on the week beginning the 25th of November. We are awaiting confirmation of dates & times so details will follow. If you feel you can contribute some time to your club or help assist Please attend. We are trying to gain ClubMark status next year and these NGB awards, not only will it help with their coaching but if your club is looking for funding this is one area they look strongly at. Derry are also hoping to will host their own Level 2 football course after Christmas, this will be available for all level 1 coaches. Can anyone interested please tell Eugene or Michelle The ladies Derry County Board AGM is on Tuesday the 5th of November 2013 at 7.30pm. The venue is yet to be confirmed. Finally the Kukri order is to be delivered soon so can all outstanding monies be in or the items will be sold on.
