Are We Too Comfortable? I find myself wondering if many of us in North America are too comfortable, too settled in, too conditioned, taking too much for granted. I wonder if many of us are stuck in the easy habits that have us unconsciously backing away from the edge of life and death? I wonder if many of us have lost our keenness for raw life, for planting a garden and trusting the universe to produce a harvest for us to reap? I wonder if security and certainty have slipped in to replace spontaneity and change? I wonder. I wonder if many of us are living dead? I wonder if I am willing to sit in discomfort allowing things to die and change? I wonder if I could trust the compost of the dying things in my life to feed the new beginnings? I wonder if I am willing to be unleashed and let my insides out - to be seen as fully as I feel inside? I wonder if I am willing to die into life? Much Love Stephen
