Why do I have deja vu regarding chemical uses like: ,Alar,DDT, Agent Orange,etc. Why do we use the herbicides, pesticides, defoliants and growth regulators first and ask questions later? These products are not people with a right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. These products go on our food, in our air and end up in our water. Shouldnt we require these products be proven safe before they are approved for widespread use? And not just each individual product, but the combinations of product which are designed to be used on the same commodity so that the combined effect or any chemical changes due to combinations can be judged safe for the environment and for humans. Too expensive?
