Are YOU thinking of joining the Alabama Affiliate of National Extension Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS)? Well - the time to join is NOW! NEAFCS is the only professional association serving the unique needs of family and consumer science educators working in the Extension system. Who Should Join: If you are an Extension employee working in any capacity with family and consumer sciences or home economics programming, with a minimum of a bachelors degree, you should be a member of NEAFCS. How to Join: For NEW members complete the Active/Affiliate Membership Application Form and send your member dues payment - chapter dues ($20) and national dues ($100), for a total of $120 (one check or money order) – make check payable to: NEAFCS – AL Affiliate along with your printed form to: Janet Johnson Regional Extension Agent II Alabama Cooperative Extension System-Russell County P.O. Drawer 1128 Phenix City, AL 36868-1128 For Membership Renewal visit neafcs.org and follow the steps below to renew your dues. 1. Log in with your member username and password. 2. Under the Member Resources tab, click Dues Renewal. 3. Update your profile information in the online renewal form. 4. Print the Confirmation Page that comes up after you click submit. 5. Send the printed page to Janet Johnson, AL Affiliate Treasurer along with your $120 (one check or money order); chapter dues ($20) and national dues ($100) for your 2014 dues. Dues are due November 30, 2013: To be eligible for a drawing of a free registration to 2014 NEAFCS AL Annual Meeting in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 2- 4, 2014 dues must be postmark by November 30th deadline!
