Are You Believing InJesus, AND Obeying Him? Lets see... John 3:27-36, John replied, No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven. You yourselves know how plainly I told you, I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for him. It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at his success. He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.. He has come from above and is greater than anyone else. We are of the earth, and we speak of earthly things, but he has come from heaven and is greater than anyone else. He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but how few believe what he tells them! Anyone who accepts his testimony can affirm that God is true. For he is sent by God. He speaks Gods words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands. And anyone who believes in Gods Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesnt obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remain under Gods angry judgement....... This is so good to read!!! Here we have the Gospel plan in plain view!!.... Believing in the Son of God gives us eternal life; then as Jesus makes His home in our hearts, He becomes greater and greater, and self becomes less and less!! And then, as He starts His work in us, we start to want to obey His words and commandments, so that we can play a part in Gods mission - saving lost souls and making disciples!!!... But, since most of this world has accepted only the first step in Gods Gospel plan, the believing part, heaven is presently not going to be your eternal home!! And why? What does the last sentence say about anyone who refuses to OBEY the Son? THEY WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE ETERNAL LIFE!!!.... Can I tell you that our lives can be the same as the life of Jesus, the Son of God!! And how can this be? BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE SAME SPIRIT WITHOUT LIMIT THAT JESUS HAD HELPING HIM IN PROCLAIMING THE MESSAGE OF GOD!!!!! So, do you see now why I am shouting so loudly, everyday, God does not send anyone to hell! We send ourselves by the lifestyles we choose to live!!!...... Living Jesus Christ gives us eternal life in heaven! Living without Jesus Christ, throughout our week, rewards us with damnation from the fires of hell!!!... Our choice, not Gods!!!!!.. Im sorry, but its the truth!!! Why not let today be the day that you stop letting the word COMPROMISE define your walk with God, and start allowing Jesus Christ start defining it again!!!!
