Are You Stealing From God? We see so much need in the evangelism field for finances to sustain and expand their work in the many fields where the evangelists and missionaries are reaping the harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. I have taught often on how to prosper in Gods Kingdom; but, all too often, people think that if they tithe, that should be all that is required. Tithing is giving back to God 10 percent of your gross income. There are only two things that you can do with Gods tithe: give it back into Gods work in the earth, or steal it from God: Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! But you ask, What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you? You have cheated Me of the tithes and offerings due to Me. Malachi 3:8 (NLT). This applies to individuals, businesses, churches, and ministries. Ministries will grow when they, too, tithe to the work of the Lord! You apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and helpers: You are not exempt! God also mentioned offerings. This is where the real prosperity comes in, because you have to trust God and His Word to receive it. And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT). God sincerely wants to bless all His people and God multiplies back to us many times what we give Him. However, nothing times nothing, although multiplied thousands of times over, still equals nothing. Jesus proved to the world how He likes to multiply things, at the Sermon on the Mount, when He multiplied the fishes and bread by thousands of times over: How much bread do you have? He (Jesus) asked. Go and find out. They came back and reported, We have five loaves of bread and two fish (This was like 5 small biscuits and two sardines). Mark 6:38 (NLT). From that, Jesus fed 5,000 men and their families (approximately 20,000 people) and the disciples took up 12 baskets of leftovers. Jesus multiplies what we put in His hands! Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do, says the Lord of Heavens Armies, I will open the windows of Heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you wont have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Malachi 3:10 (NLT). Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Luke 6:38 (NLT). Remember this: a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 2 Corinthians 9: (NLT).
