Are internet updates deleting your internet presence? A small change by one companys website can change everything you so carefully planned and placed on the internet. A change by Google can pretty much wipe you of the internet. If you have listed your business on search engines, local search, directories, navigation services, and map sites thinking your info will be there to be easily found forever ( posts on the internet are forever, right?). I would advise checking your business listings regularly. You will be surprised what you dont find and how often it changes! Paid business advertising listings online may also disappear if they ever even make online visibility! Case in point. A business I work for purchased the works from a yellow pages advertising sales person thinking this would cover them on and off line. I did an internet presence check for them a month or so later and found only social connections we had made. They had to send me links so I could find their paid search advertising! See a problem here? I do internet business listings as part of my business and had my presence in a-1 shape. Being busy I hadnt checked my listing status for a few months so decided I might want to.
