Are the govt. claims of reaching to the needy only water bubbles? Todays Telugu news paper Andhra Jyothi carries an article, according to which one couple staying in far off place --kamalamarri, cheemala cheruvu Panchayat, Anantapur Dt(to walk 7 KM for any thing), for cultivating 4 acres of land. They have paid in Dec., 94 Rs.25000/- to Rural Elec supply corpn, existing at that time, which supplied 18 electricpoles, whereas 20 poles were required. 18 poles erected at the expense of farmer. After 20 years after paying Rs.25000/-- Govt Dept reportedly says Rs.2.00 lakhs required to supply power. While working in the farm they got educated 2 children in nearby suburban town. They are continuing to stay there against threats from animals in reserve forest, police and naxalites for the last 40 years. One of the wells dried up and a little water left in another well. they continue to live with kerosin lamp. Their children got well educated and filled light in their lives. Is anybody hearing?
