Are there any contractors out there who could give me a ballpark estimate of how much shingle roof replacement and aluminum gutter replacement is in Morgantown? I believe the pitch is about 4 in 12, if not less steep in places, and is approximately 2220 square feet on a raised ranch (two stories with basement in front, single level on back) including an attached single level garage The roof is well-worn (asphalt in gutters), no clue how old, but does not appear to be leaking YET. We bought the home last year and the home inspector said we might have about 5 years left on it (4 now). Were thinking about replacing to head off more expense later on. I also have one place on the back where water drips from the main roof onto the garage roof and mildew and moss like to grow, which indicates a drainage issue, but again, the roof doesnt appear to be leaking in that spot. The gutters are approximately 135 linear feet, with 4 downspouts. Any type of estimation is welcome, including those who have similar dimensions who have recently had their roof replaced. I dont want to drag someone out here to give me an estimate when Im not sure if were ready to replace it yet.
