Are these politicians sponsoring this bill up for reelection? Perhaps they should be removed from their elected homes. While West Virginia is suffering a water CRISIS, which all the facts are not known, these so-call leaders in Charleston, WV wants to remove your loved (animal) family members. Really, they need to hear from you and ALL your friends too. Please review this [piece] of legislation, and see if your representative is identified. If their name appears, contact them. If your representative is NOT listed, contact them anyway and let them know what you think of this Bill. Senate Bill 371 is clear in its intent: ”The purpose of this bill is to prohibit the possession of wild and exotic animals,” as identified in the attached article. **I say the Bill is vague, much too general, and capricious. Serious thought, in my opinion, has NOT gone into this piece of legislation; Additionally, West Virginians should speak directly to their representative(s) and NOT have them lobbied from outsiders such as those identified within the attached article. This Bill should NOT leave the first committee!
