Are they really unanswered prayers? Just because we dont know the answer, does not mean our prayers have not been answered. Sometimes the answer is yes; sometimes it’s no ; sometimes its wait and sometimes it is we will see. When our children ask us for something we usually know the answer right off the bat and the answer should depend on whether or not it is a good decision for our child and us, but more importantly for our child and sometimes it depends on the circumstances because sometimes circumstances change according to our actions. Then there are sometimes that because things change so much, we will completely change our answer; so we should never give up! GOD is the same way because if you stop and think about it; HE is our parent and HE loves us and only wants the best for us and we must remember that we were made in HIS image and we are supposed to have the heart of GOD and that means to love our children enough to give them the right answers; not always yes, but what is best for them according to HIS HOLY WORD! Being a good parent doesnt mean giving them everything they want; it is giving them what they need and teaching them to love, respect and have the heart of GOD and we have to do that by example! NOT do as I say but do as you see me do and when we make a mistake ; let them know and explain why we should have done it differently. That doesnt make us wishy washy; it makes us human! Lord, help us to realize the importance to be open and honest with our children and set for them, the example YOU have set for us. Daniel 10:12 Then he continued, Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear (Isaiah 65:24) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (Romans 10:12) 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Luke 22:42 Saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Isaiah 38:1-5 38 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” 2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3 “Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah: 5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life. Exodus 32:14 14. And the Lord changed his mind about the disaster that he planned to bring on his people. 14. Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened. Jonah 3:10. When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil ways, God changed his mind about the calamity that he had said he would bring upon them; and he did not do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing,
