Are thing getting worse or are we just so connected that we can see every little move everyone is making in the world? Why did I incarnate into a world of such massive chaos, oppression and violence? Why is this what we choose as a collective? I am well aware of how good I have it here and that no one is hurting or oppressing me. But because of my smart phone I get to SEE from a very safe distance. Its horrifying seeing the faces of children contorted in terror. Its horrifying to know there are mothers holding their children Right Now and watching them die. Would if this was us? Dont tell me to be grateful and be happy I live here. Dont tell me its one conflict over another. Dont tell me to not look so closely at this stuff because it gives me a negative world view. This is the world. This is our history. This is what my generation has inherited. And this savagery towards other humans must stop.
