Are we a dying breed called Liberals? Are there no saving grace for our open mindedness and care for the planet? This last Midterm election left me in doubt as to the survival of the liberal mind and soul. This modern movement to be inclusive and equal in all things is being challenged, and confronted by a fascist ideology of selfishness and anti human policy. The Koch bros are now going after pensions of retirees, and all the more vulnerable among us, and we vote in the miscreants that create a world of Haves and Have nots. Our ideology of care for all, is being shoved aside, for care of the top wrong of society only. Our founders were called liberals by the British Press for they wanted Democracy a most liberal and populous way to govern. A system that was invented by Greeks and Iroquois Native Americans that made every citizen a power of one, and many ones made the power grow. Ah, but the new right wing wealthy, want oligarchy not democracy, for democratic ideas are too liberal for them, they want all the power concentrated in their upper class. They are going about creating a theocratic oligarchy, and want us to be in that mode, and many turncoat haters are in that mode. The governor of Ohio for instance, now requires all schools that want money from the State, to have to partnership with a faith based religious group, or no cash for the schools. This is another move toward Iran type theocracy, blended with wealthy oligarchy to make a brew of repression and control of the masses called the people We the people, are now We the sheeple and our power is in the hands of religious nuts and megalomaniacs of industry
