Are we going to be honest about the fact that we didn’t even let enough time pass to see if the brother was developed in MANHOOD, before we offered our wombs and introduced him to FATHERHOOD? Our reproductive organs are primarily for REPRODUCTION. We instead turn “procreation” into “recreation”. You’re not laying down with a man because he is your husband and you want to give him an extension of himself, you’re lying down with him because it feels good, or because you think the key to an already broken relationship is a child, or because you yourself don’t fully understand the power of your womb. Maybe one day we can stop referring to men as “my baby daddy” and introduce him as “my husband” and this is our child________.
