Are we looking at an India where a basic right to play of every child is being denied ? National Symposium on Right to Play brings together researchers, policy makers, non-governmental organisations from across the country to deliberate & chart a future course of action on the issue. Deliberations centre around the deplorable facilities & environment of play in rural & urban India due to factors like the advent of technology, nuclear families, safety issues, lack of patronage by both parents & the state which erodes the inherent interest among children to play and negatively impacts their health & holistic development.
