Are we to believe that the majority of Americans are able to accept what has been happening? For how long have our history books condemned the German citizens for their silence and complicity in the face of a growing Fascist state? Why is it so hard for people to recognize where we are in the cycle of time? Is that the lesson being forced on us yet again?….that the majority of any population will acquiesce, will ignore, will worry more about what to have for dinner than about the state-sanctioned violence in the street?
