There is a fantastic opportunity at present for a 6 week placement during which you will learn the following: The fundamentals of ICT What a Computer Technician does Assessing, diagnosing and solving technology hardware & software issues Concepts of data recovery Introduction to web design & programming Successful candidates will have the opportunity to shadow a fully experienced computer technician and work in a repair workshop where they experience a wide variety of roles giving them an insight into a career in this fast growing industry. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will have the opportunity to apply for a 9 month skills development programmes which offers customised training for a career in this field. No experience required. Candidates will be self motivated, passionate about computers and willing to learn. Ability to drive desirable but not essential.
