Are you D.I.M. ? ... or how to grow a crop of wheat. In any activity of consciousness only three intellectual modes are available: 1. Integration 2. Misintegration 3. Disintegration Lets apply them to growing wheat: (I have included the philosophic school/tradition) 1. Disintegration: I think these are wheat seeds. This soil looks as good as any, and I dont need to worry about the season in which to plant or water them. Those things are opinions, there are no absolutes, who are you to say anyway? They will grow! ...SOMEHOW. (Plato, Kant & Dewey ) 2. Misintegration: My church says these are good seeds. I will plant them in good soil this spring, God will bring rain and assure they grow. I just know it! In the fall I will have a crop of wheat. ...God willing. (Abrahamic Judeaism, Plato & Jesus) 3. Integration: I have some wheat seeds from last years crop. A sample has been germinated for viability in the fields fertile soil. I have reserved a large pond of water in case there is a drought. I have installed scarecrows and deer scares. I will plant them after the last frost. At the end of summer I will harvest the wheat. ...I hope bad weather doesnt destroy the crop. (Aristotle, Russel & Rand) Reality is an absolute. These are the only three opinions possible to interpret reality. They can be mixed to produce an additional three subsets. A is A.
