Are you a NURSE(or Skilled Worker)? No IELTS yet? Interested to MIGRATE to CANADA? You now have the opportunity through the QUEBEC NOMINEE PROGRAM. The Quebec Government announced that they will issue 20,000 selection certificates for occupations in demand in their province and NURSES are in high demand. In recognition of this urgent need they now give the nurses, the maximum of 16 points allowed in the Areas of Training category. Other skilled workers will also earn from 6-12 points for their respective areas of training. It may now be possible for nurses to qualify without much French knowledge (or even IELTS) because of the additional points being awarded as a nurse. Nurses need of course to get high points in other categories for the ielts to be waived. The Canadian Nurses Associations predicts that 60,000 nurses will be needed in Canada by 2022 in order to fill labor shortages.
