OFFICIAL STATEMENT Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), and Team Shelby will host the 2014 Shelby Vegas Bash at the new Shelby American World Headquarters just off the Strip. Festivities start on Monday, April 14, and run into the Mustang Club of America (MCA) 50th Birthday Celebration beginning on Thursday, April 17. This year’s Vegas Bash includes a Shelby Cruise from Palm Springs to Vegas, Monday night’s “Cars Under the Stars” event at the new facility, a Poker Run, exclusive tours, a Shelby GTS giveaway and more. “With the Shelby Vegas Bash leading right into the MCA 50th Birthday Celebration, we’re expecting this year to be bigger and better than ever,” said Joe Conway, CEO of Shelby American. “This will be the first opportunity to host Shelby members and enthusiasts at our new world headquarters in the heart of Las Vegas. This year’s Vegas Bash and MCA 50th Celebration will be one for the record books.” The Pacific Coast Team Shelby Region will kick off festivities on April 13 with a 300-mile Shelby Run out of Palm Springs, ending in Las Vegas on April 14, just in time for “Cars Under the Stars” at the new Shelby American World Headquarters. The meet and greet will include live music, a cash bar, great food and hundreds of Shelby cars on display. The next morning, participants will meet at South Point Hotel and caravan to tour a revered private auto collection that features rare and important Shelbys, old and new. After the tour, the group will embark on a spirited drive during the popular 150-mile Poker Run through the Valley of Fire. That night, in celebration of the new location and official grand opening of the Shelby Heritage Center, Shelby American will host a dinner for all participants. Wednesday, April 16, is the final day of the Shelby Vegas Bash and includes breakfast, a Shelby American car show and awards ceremony at the headquarters. That afternoon will be the calm before the storm, as hundreds of Mustang and Shelby cars will pour into Las Vegas Wednesday evening. All MCA 50th Birthday Celebration festivities run from April 17 – 20, and require separate registration with MCA, which is highly recommended. “Shelby American will be fully participating in all MCA 50th Celebration activities, including my personal favorite, open track time at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Gary Patterson, VP of sales and factory driver for Shelby American. “Like in years past, our factory drivers will be happy to show enthusiasts on the track how to enter turns, hit the apex and give as many pointers as possible.
