Are you a human being or a human doing? we have been taught to value all the wrong things. From an early age we are indoctrinated to grow up and be successful. To get an amazing job and a beautiful house. An expensive car and lots of cash. The emphasis is always on what we do and not on who we are. You ARE a child of the most high, so what you DO matters not. Society measures success according to what a man does or what he has. But you see, mans way is not gods way. God isnt interested in your job or the things you acquire. These things can be lost in a breath. Many men have destroyed themselves simply because they lost a job or a home and in the process, they lost themselves. So many men think they ARE their job and they dont know who they otherwise are. God calls us to greatness. Paul speaks of the fruit of the spirit... love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, meekness, humbleness, long suffering, compassion. Fore these are the things by which god almighty judges a man You are NOT your job or what you own You are a human being, not a human doing. What attributes of your character are pleasing to the most high? Are you loving? Thoughtful? Honorable? Trust worthy? Do you consider others or are you out for self? Do you lash out when youre hurt or do you let love rule? You see this is how god judges a man... he isnt impressed with your car and truthfully neither is your neighbor. So i ask you... who is it youre trying to please? In all things, let love rule!
