Are you a patient person when it comes to dealing with others? The opposite of this is a critical person. How does a person become critical of others? It begins with a prideful heart that seeks to judge others and condemn them. Remember, Jesus came not to condemn or judge the world initially while on earth but to save it. Jesus will judge and condemn on Judgment Day. So what kind of people does God want us to be? Certainly we are to stand up for right and wrong as defined in the holy scriptures but we are not to be judgmental, arrogant, or critical. This is the exact opposite of love. Which brings me back to patience. The Bible tells us that love is patient. So, you can immediately access your spiritual condition by how patient you are with others. The less patient you are, the less loving you are. The more critical you are, the less loving and patient you are. Just imagine if God were not patient with us? It could get real ugly real fast! So, be more like God by asking Him to make you more loving which will make you less critical and more patient.
