Are you a sprinkle in a million? When my little boy was born, I became self-employed so I could be at home with him. I was a health editor and single mum, so I took him to interviews and photo shoots and he became my little assistant. (This is him interviewing John Barrowman, the conversation was very Dr Who focused :-)) It was all change again when he started school, I arranged meetings around school hours and worked when he was in bed. Simply trying to make a living. My hours are long. Writing and editing and interviewing and coordinating a design team. I used to joke that I was aiming towards minimum wage ;-) I have no pension, and if I am ill, I either work through it or I dont get paid. Scary stuff. I wonder is any of this is striking a chord with you? Supplementing your family income with extra hours perhaps on top of a 9-5 job as well. The reason I ask? I have found a new way to work. I am creating a income which affords the longed-for trip to Florida, which will pay off my mortgage and provide me and my son with a very secure future. Would you like to know more? I live in Bangor, Id love to meet for a coffee and a cake with sprinkles (in school hours of course :-)) x
