Are you caught in the web of controversy, hate or drama? Are people spreading stories about you? Well know this - whenever people tell stories about other people, usually its because theres something in it for them, or it might be because they just simply lack a life. Fact or fiction, people tell things the way they want others to beleive as fact. It may be because that in thier own minds that is how they believe it is, or in many cases it may be that its how they want others to see it because it suits thier purpose. Stories aren’t objective - they’re selective. They pay attention to certain details while cloaking others, sometimes even bending or using mis-information in a way that supports the point they are trying to make. You can choose to fire back at them and - yes - you might even make a good point about why the opposition is wrong - but be prepared because you could end up becoming a menacing hypocrite in the process and end up losing a lot more then you bargained for. Ask yourself this -do you really want to repeat any of these destructive or dysfunctional behaviors in your own life? Dont waste your time - know this - people will believe what they want to - true or false - so why give negative people the power to make you just like them? Think about it, dont you have better things to do with your life then become that kind of person? I hope you do. Walk away - dont let them mold you into becoming an asshole.
