Are you constantly going over the past and fretting over what negative outcome has affected you? If you want to let the past go, then create some Optimistic statements of that incident. Ask yourself "What did I learn? What can I change next time? What it really 100% bad? etc" The answers to these questions will lead to Optimistic Outlook statements that you can recite to yourself while you meditate or go for a walk. Also include statements like "The past is the past and it cannot be changed and that is OK". I have gotten through this past situation and I am stronger because of it. " Reciting these NEW beliefs will help you reprogram your brain to generate an Optimistic outlook and move forward in a positive manner.
