Are you going to worship services every Sunday to be ENTERTAINED? Or are you going to worship services every Sunday to be SPIRITUALLY FED? Is your worship center a place that focuses on being a vessel that helps set the captives free and heal the brokenhearted? Or is it a place that focuses on accumulation of material assets that have nothing to do with going out into the world to disciple...but instead building an empire where those in the world will have to come to it and conform to its ways? Do you remember what the teacher taught during worship? Or do you just remember that the choir got down and the preacher hooped? Are you part of a constructive church? Or are you a part of a destructive church that is focused on building an empire through manipulation and deception of those who follow to serve the best interest of one person instead of the body? When the captives are set free they will see in the spirit... and when they see in the spirit... if you as a leader are not led by the spirit... those who see in the spirit can not be manipulated and deceived by you if you are really about building yourself up. Is it in your best interest as a leader for the captives to remain in chains so you can tell them what they need so they will not question your agenda? Or is it in your best interest as a leader for the captives to be set free so they can hear directly from the spirit of God themselves as he becomes their teacher? If you are not working to be a vessel that sets the captives free and heal the brokenhearted... then you should not be in the business of Church because as Dr. King puts it in this sermon... that AINT Church.
