Are you interested in becoming a lactation consultant? Did you know there are a few different tracks you can take to become an IBCLC? Did you know there are scholarships available for training? What path are you pursuing or interested in pursuing? There are different types of lactation support including educators, peer support, mom-to-mom supporters, but more and more insurance and hospital support includes coverage of an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). Here at TLB we believe all types and levels of support is important, particularly when they are aware of their limits and for HCPs, their scope of practice and refer out as necessary. Over the last few years weve seen several of our community to go on to become IBCLCs and other lactation support personal, we want to know if youre on that journey as well!
