Are you interested in becoming a volunteer to support mothers with breastfeeding? Are you Friendly? Reliable? Supportive? We would like to give this opportunity to motivated and committed individuals living in Worcestershire or surrounding areas, access to training to learn a worthwhile and lifelong skill. The volunteers will be trained to enable them to provide information and support to pregnant women and new mothers. We have identified the need for extra support within maternity and feel that this could be achieved by training local volunteers. The free training would involve15-20 hours to commence in January 2015 – (you can do 2 full days or 4 half days) and will include all the skills you will need to help support mothers who are breastfeeding. No experience necessary, but an interest in breastfeeding is essential.
