Inside the Living Room (ILR) is currently looking to recruit dedicated Berkeley students that are eager to intern with our organization for the upcoming school year! Inside the Living Room is a service based organization on campus that works closely with the Berkeley East Bay Sanctuary Covenant, which offers sanctuary, solidarity, support, community organizing assistance, advocacy, and legal services to those escaping war, terror, political persecution, intolerance, exploitation, and other expressions of violence. Inside the Living Room (ILR) is a highly competitive internship that creates meaningful service opportunities for UC Berkeley students seeking to understand immigrant refugee rights, legal processes and frameworks, and immigrant advocacy through educational programs for both immigrants and the public. If you are interested in the immigration field, are eager to volunteer with immigration refugees or would like to work one on one with clients and attorneys, ILR is the program for you!
