Are you kidding me? We spent many years teaching and working next to other. Some of my most memorable and intense sparring I ever had was with Lucky. For those that have never met him. He always had a smile on his face and an infectious fun and happy aura. He had more energy than his students. Always running circles around them yelling out HOOTIE HOOOO. My heart is heavy for some on I called a friend. I saw him a couple months ago at one of Arenas boxing nights. I specifically went there to see and say Hi to my friend who was refereeing the boxing matches. During one of the breaks I went up to the ring. His smile was from ear to ear when he saw me. He came up and gave me the most meaningful, loving and warm hug. Telling me how are you my friend? I miss you and love you. Well my friend I am glad I was able to see you one last time and tell you I love you also. R.I.P. Lucky. HOOTIE HOOOO my friend.
