Why not enjoy a steam train ride at the Illawarra Light Railway Museum Society Limited at Albion Park Rail :-) The Museum grounds are the perfect place for a family picnic or get-together and entry is FREE. There is a small charge train rides. The ILRMS was first founded in 1972. It collects and restores narrow gauge steam and diesel locomotives and historical light railway artefacts. Public Open Days with steam locomotives in operation, are on the second Sunday of each month from 11.00am to 4.00pm. Entry is free, with fares applying to rides.
