Are you looking forward to Worcesters new cultural quarter? Planning permission has been given for it to be built at the old Royal Worcester Porcelain site near the Cathedral, and it will boast performance spaces, workshops, cafes, shops and a glass tower offering panoramic views of our great city. The scheme will cost £10m and is being funded by the Bransford Trust. Its due to open in May 2015. Heres a BBC news report on the scheme from last year, to whet your appetite.
