Are you planning to attend the Northeast Storytelling Conference - TopicsExpress

Are you planning to attend the Northeast Storytelling Conference at UMass Amherst this month but havent selected your workshops yet? Simon Brooks and I would like to invite you to come learn and laugh with us in Branding: It Doesnt Have to Hurt! Kevin Cordi and Geraldine Buckley attended this same workshop in 2011 (although we have polished it a bit more now) and have generously allowed us to share their thoughts and recommendations below. Take your business to the next level! If you have any questions, ask away and remember, Branding comes BEFORE Marketing. For additional information on this workshop and the many other wonderful conference offerings visit lanes.org/storytelling-conference/schedule/ Hope to see you there! “The combined work of Simon and Karen and their expertise in branding will enable a storyteller to revisit their work, especially from a marketing perspective. They come equipped with an eclectic array of choices and plans when addressing branding. However, they are not afraid to be vulnerable and share what has not worked for them and are willing to create a warm open climate for discussing more ideas from the participants. Simon and Karen are organized in a way that the time flies but the learning is valued. They work off of each other and form a dynamic duo of leadership. They honor the suggestions and ideas of others at the same time exhibit a grace and understanding of time management that accepts and recognizes all voices.” Kevin Cordi “I was very impressed by their knowledge, their thoroughness, and their skill in presenting. It was an excellent workshop. Further to my comments above, I was greatly impressed by Karen and Simons knowledge and by the way they conveyed that knowledge. They were very clear and helpful. They offered to send additional information to people who left emails and they carried through with that offer. They were kind and patient with people who werent quite grasping the issues and yet were cognizant of time and were sensitive to the needs of the group as a whole. They were an impressive duo.” Geraldine Buckley
