“Are you ready?” 2 Timothy 2:15 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. How are you handling God’s word? Paul’s charge to Timothy is God’s charge to us today. In order to prepare ourselves to be presented as “approved” to God we must know God’s word, live God’s word and share God’s word. In our pursuit to this goal, we must pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Are these traits we can claim today? As Christians, we know that each day that passes is another day closer to His return. There is still a lot to be done inside each of us to prepare. Lord help me to be continually preparing.
