Are you ready??? In my opinion the most exciting stage of this years Tour #TDF2014 will be tomorrows stage 5. Yes, racing over the ancient Roman laid cobbles.... Starting in Ypres South of Belgium making its way into the North of France before the finish in Arenberg. This stage provides opportunity for the Paris-Roubaix Gladiators to have the advantage on a battle field where GC Tour favourites dare not to tread in the time of spring. The Tour can be won here on this day for those of the GC favourites who dare, are brave, strong and have the guts to put it on the line early into this campaign. All hopes of victory in Paris can be just as quickly lost if the luck of the Gods are not on their side to protect them... This day will see the Pave Specialist fighting it out for the stage honours over the cobbles, while having less-non experienced pave riders around and amongst them. A sense of fear and panic as they storm each section of broken and potholed pave... Carnage... Tangled bikes and bodies lying in the dirt and mud as they wait for the dust to clear. They bravely rise and get back on their machines with the will to continue the fight for another day... There is but 16 more days of fighting to Paris. Courage!!!
