Are you ready for Christmas? You have forsaken your master, so - TopicsExpress

Are you ready for Christmas? You have forsaken your master, so you have no fear and wisdom has not taught you (Isaiah 1:2-3). You have given yourselves to corruption and turned from God (Isaiah 1:4). Since you have turned from God the enemy has treated you very badly and your mind is destroyed, your heart afflicted and your wounds have been left open (Isaiah 1:5-6). All your plans from youth have all turned to another thing, you cannot look after your children, they have turned and are looking after their own lives, what you never thought will happen one day. Your house lies in ruins and you cannot repair, a house that was once new and people passed and gave praises, but new houses have come and overtaken and you are unable to get funds to repair the house and give it a face lift (Isaiah 1:7-9). Sodom and Gomorrah was once destroyed because of their sins and the one who had once flourished and is seeing things turn around, is compared to Sodom and Gomorrah. But the Lord is asking you today, that you should hear, you who has taken Christianity as a religion, a place of liberty because you think he is not watching. You bring meaningless offering to him, you put on nice clothing to go celebrate Christmas, etc without knowing the meaning of why you go to church to celebrate. But God is telling you that these are becoming meaningless and are a burden to him. When you spread your hand out to pray to him, he hides his face and closes his ears (Isaiah 1:10-15). But God on the contrary is a God who listens to the person whose heart is pure, who gives whatever a righteous person wants and when the righteous will pray for an innocent or non innocent person he will listen (Job 22:21-30). Thus says the Lord Isaiah 1:16-20 Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” The blessings God has given you is all waste, lying in ruins, it has become a story, you now tell people how you were once prosperous. But the Lord is telling you to change from your ways, to repent for he is about to restore you with righteousness. He will deliver you with justice and if you repent from their hearts, he will deliver you with righteousness (Isaiah 1:21-28). The Lord will make you kings and he will be the King the highest mountain where believers will stream to for him to teach his ways, so that you would walk in his paths. Nations will no more fight against nations because there will be love that exists and people will train for war no more (Isaiah 2:1-5). People have not believed and they are following diviners, depending on man made gods and the power of mortals for help while God has given us his son, that if we call on his name we will be saved. The Lord wants us walk in his ways for him to prosper us, but for those who choose their own ways and gain riches from other sources other than him will be brought low on the day of the Lord which is Judgment day (Isaiah 2:6-22). The Lord will no more support and supply those who have not believed in his son Jesus Christ. It will be well with believers, but woe to the unrighteous. The one who has withheld from the poor is the one who has ruined the vineyard of the Lord. Remember that all things were made by the Lord (Isaiah 3:1-15). To the women who have decided to become proud and haughty, wearing strange attire that entice and attract men, there is punishment for you if they dont change, if you dont believe in Christ. There will come a time when many of you who live this kind of life will be without husband and they will be fighting for one man just because you want to be identified as married, your reason for marrying will be to bear the name of the man (Isaiah 3:16-26). You are the Lords vineyard, he made you, but you have done wrong by abandoning his ways and walking in other ways. So the walls of the vineyard which he once built he has broken and has allowed people to trample through, he has allowed thorns and briers to grow there and no rain to fall (Isaiah 5:1-7). Woe to those who dont fear God and depend on their own wisdom and the knowledge of other people, who have not sought the wisdom of God and because of this lack understanding, they spend time drinking, investing in other activity and have forgotten the Lord. His anger will not turn from such people (Isaiah 5:8-28). We understand that we are not pure, that we all have sinned against God. As Isaiahs mouth was touched with the Coal and his sin atoned for, so it is with the blood of Jesus that atones our sins (Isaiah 6:1-6). Unto us a child is born, a child is given as a sign . In that day the one who is still living in darkness and does not repent, who goes on fighting the children of God (believers), the Lord will fight against you (Isaiah 7). The Lord wants us to fear only him and walk in his ways. Those who walk in other ways will be in trouble for Christ is born and God is with us. Nations will conspire against you who walk in the ways of the Lord and their plans will be thwarted for the Lord is with you and the one whom God is with is the one who has the light of dawn (Isaiah 8:1-17). Isaiah 8:19-21 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. But to those who turn against the Lord, who do not believe Isaiah 8:22-23 Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness. The light of the world has come and those living in darkness will rejoice, those who have been held captive, the children of the light who are suffering, hold onto the word and make it a standard for your life for this is what God wants. Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. The root of Jesse comes with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, Counsel and might, knowledge and fear of the Lord. Start celebrating Christmas this year by changing from your ways and living a Christian life. Christ is the Lamb of God and the Lamb is not wild, it will not fight anyone. So how have you been living as a Christian, have you been a wolf in a Lambs clothing (Isaiah 11:1-9)? The word says the one who engages in wickedness is like he is in a war front (Eccl. 8:8b). As you have seen unto us a child is born and after this child is born, the one who walks in other ways than the Lords, will be in trouble (Isaiah 8:12-15). To you: Circumcise your hearts, study his word and live in peace, for God is with us. Immanuel!!!!!
