Are you ready for a soaking rain? A FLASH FLOOD watch goes into effect Friday morning at 8 & lasts through the day for areas along I-95 on northwest through the Poconos. A flash flood watch means there is the potential that if we get 1- 2 of rain in 6 hours or less we could see fast rises on small streams/creeks that would lead to quick flooding. So, PLEASE stay away, and keep your children away, from swollen waterways! Rushing water may be fascinating to watch, but it can also be deady. Remember: it only takes six inches of water to knock you off your feet and only two feet of water to sweep away a car. Ill have details on the timing of the rain on Action News tonight.
