Are you ready to help promote the #WhatIsAnEA campaign? What is the #WhatIsAnEa campaign? Starting on January 30th, at about 10:00 am (Mountain time zone), the first of five flights pulling banners that promote the enrolled agent credential (similar to the one pictured) will take to the air in the Super Bowl vicinity. The banners will direct Super Bowl attendees and viewers to the website WhatisanEA.org, which by that time will be redirecting to NAEAs consumer website, eatax.org. How Can I help? Here are some tips from NAEA member Kerry Freeman, EA: 1.On Facebook, repost photos or stories from NAEAs Facebook page onto your own. While you might be thinking that all of your Facebook contacts already know what an EA is, reposting stories will help with the algorithm that posts topics to the top of Facebook searches and web searches. In addition, use the FB Search button and seek out local TV or other media outlets and personalities and post to their Facebook pages. Many TV stations have a place on the page for others to post stories and pictures. 2.On Twitter and Instagram, repost photos and links to WhatisanEA.org and make sure to use the relevant hashtags: #superbowl, #whatisanEA, #NAEA, #americastaxexpert, and #enrolledagent. 3.Seek out TV and other media personalities on Twitter and add to their discussions with a tweet about the plane - and make sure to link to the website and use hash tags!
