Are you really crazy - then try this one Try this exercise only at your home. I have been doing this for many years from now & it works for me. This is the most simple mindfulness exercise. You can experience it for yourself. Every day we keep moving from one room to another in our house. To add little spice, happiness & lightness to the situation, keep changing the way you walk between the rooms. For example, from hall to bedroom, walk like Charlie chaplin, walk side ways etc. Some more ways are Jump & walk Walk on your toes Walk as if your left leg is shorter than the right Walk backwards Walk step by step Walk very slowly Run Jog to next room Dance & walk to room Crawl Walk like a 90 yr old You can innovate many different styles of walking(depends upon how crazy you are). What is in it for me? This may look very silly or crazy. But this helps you to break your routines/patterns. Since you are doing something new, your mind becomes completely absorbed into that action & comes into the present moment. Your mind can’t jump between past & future. You become completely mindful. You become calm, peaceful and happy. You feel good. My kids laugh out loud whenever I walk like this. They start following me. The entire energy levels in the family changes instantly.
