Are you seeking? What does it mean to seek the Lord? Seek the LORD! Isa 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon HIM while He is near. To seek: “To inquire for; to ask for; to solicit; to endeavor to find or gain by any means” Now IF mankind was born depraved and unable to seek the lord and His truth, then most verses in the word of God that say we can need to be thrown out! To Call: “To invite or summon to come or be present; to invite, or collect” Also to be able to call to Him, as in inviting Him to come be with you is not required by the depraved, born sinner crowd, making any free will choice towards God legalism, and somehow must be offset by God so they can then obey His commands to seek, and call upon Him! 1Ch 28:9 As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. To seek God is a choice, made by a willing mind and heart, set by a loyal heart that has been given a choice by God to seek Him, and find Him while He is still waiting patiently for His wayward creation to stop playing games with Him, and seek repentance on the scale of Nineveh. But most today seek everything but God and His truth, they put Him on the end of their to do list, and then are told they were born sinners, unable and unwilling to seek God in their own God given ability to stop sinning, and seek Him as if they are seeking for buried treasure, but the treasures of God are of most importance, that must be sought with great passion, fervency, and diligence, because God doesn’t want halfhearted attempts, He wants total dedication to Him and His truth that can transform a vile sinner, into a pure, and undefiled bride of Christ. I believe God it now testing His creation to see who really wants and desires Him, who will forsake all to seek Him out, and call upon His Holy name in great fear and reverence, because He has given us the free will and ability to simply come to Him or reject Him, and He will not bend His will against those who refuse to seek and call upon Him, or just accept their excuses that they are just unable and unwilling to come to Him as He commands. Luke 13:25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open for us, and He will answer and say to you, I do not know you, where you are from. The time is now; seek Him with all your heart and soul and you will find Him!
