Are you tired of the turmoil in your life? Are you tired of all the problems & situations that you are facing today? Are you ready to throw in the towel?? STOP… Do not walk and live with your head down no more …trust your Lord to fight against your enemies which will give you victory in His perfect timing. Did you know your posture can communicate your attitude… your faith? There’s a scripture in Psalm 24 that says, “Lift up your head and the King of glory will come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord mighty in battle.” Think about that for a moment. When you lift your head, you are inviting God to come in and fight your battles for you. What does it mean to lift your head? It means you are setting your focus on God!!! you are looking toward Him. You are putting your faith and hope in Him and trusting that He will guide you to overcome your situation. Is not my intention to start a theological debate on the meaning of the word Faith and the Hebrew translation of the word { not really interested into that kind of blog} In the general sense of the word, to have faith is to believe in something or someone, to fully trust, to be so confident that you base your actions on what you believe. To have faith is to be fully convinced of the truthfulness and reliability of that in which you believe. Faith in God then, is having the kind of trust and confidence in God and in Christ that leads you to commit your whole soul to Him as Savior… It means we trust Him implicitly for all of our needs because He says He will provide. It means we approach crises with the assurance that God will bring good from them. It means that we never worry that we are alone because God said He will never leave us or forsake us. It means we overcome anxiety during stressful situations because God instruct us to bring our request to Him. It means that, despite what happens in our lives, we will never doubts God’s love because He has told us that He loves us with an everlasting Love. Today understand that your life is going to follow your Faith. You can’t stay focused on where you are or how it’s never going to get any better because if you’re looking down and focusing on your problem, you’ll stay right where you are. Instead, you’ve got to lift up your head and invite God to fight your battles. That means if you’re sick, you’ve got to start seeing yourself as well. If you’re struggling in your finances, start seeing yourself with more than enough. You may be facing major obstacles, but start seeing yourself rise above them. If you will lift up your head, then the Lord mighty in battle will come in. And when God shows up, every adversity will be turned to victory, and every battlefield will be turned to a blessing field! Today, lift up your head, even if you’ve been standing for a long time, even if you may feel weak and tired. Scripture says that when you feel weak, then He is strong in You! Psalm 3:3 says that He will even lift up your head. In other words, He will give you vision, He will infuse you with His life, and He will empower you to stand strong and embrace victory! Call on His name today because He is closer than the air you breathe. He is ready, willing and able to show Himself strong on your behalf when you invite Him to fight your battles!
